Onyx Containers was conceived after the birth of our daughter. Like most new parents, we became more aware of the health of our family when it came time to cook, store and eat meals. We know plastic and food is an unhealthy combination (and avoidable). Glass seemed to be the best alternative (even though the lids are plastic). But glass breaks. And broken glass and babies don't mix. We wanted alternatives to plastic that worked and were a fair price
